Our Commitment

GetLean is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience of researchvials.us for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We believe that every researcher, regardless of ability, should have equal access to peptide education and scientific information.

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities.

Accessibility Features

Built-In Accessibility Bar

Our site includes an accessibility toolbar that allows you to customize your viewing experience. Features include adjustable text size (from 80% to 150% of default), high-contrast mode for improved readability, grayscale mode for reduced visual complexity, a dyslexia-friendly font option (OpenDyslexic), link highlighting to make all links more visible, a large cursor option for easier navigation, animation pause controls for users sensitive to motion, adjustable line height and letter spacing, text alignment options, a reading guide that tracks your cursor position, and a reading mask that focuses on a single line at a time.

Technical Implementation

We have implemented the following technical measures to support accessibility throughout the site:

  • Semantic HTML5 elements (header, nav, main, footer, article, section) for proper document structure
  • ARIA landmarks, roles, labels, and live regions where appropriate
  • Skip-to-content links on every page
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, dropdowns, and interactive elements
  • Focus-visible indicators with 3px blue outlines on all interactive elements
  • Alt text on all images, with descriptive fallbacks for failed image loads
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards
  • Responsive design that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Reduced-motion media query support to respect system preferences
  • Print-friendly styles that remove navigation and non-essential elements

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still present challenges. Certain product images may have limited descriptive alt text as we work to improve our image descriptions. Some third-party embedded content (such as analytics scripts) may not be fully accessible. We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on any accessibility barriers you encounter.
